New Delhi
So it was back to Delhi again. This time it was more than just a logistical stop over - we did some touring of the cities best historical attractions as well.
We visited The Lotus Temple - which is a non-denominational worshiping site. Beautiful building - but, you had to take your shoes off to walk around. Danna did not love that.
We went to see Humayun’s Tomb, another World Heritage Site, which is really a precursor to the Taj Mahal. This was a classic Indian masterpiece of a building. But really, at this point Danna was templed out (so was I ).
We also got to walk through the India arch - very touristy but a cool spot in town.
Overall nice day of touring but we are ready to head to Agra for the main event.
