Tahiti II
We came back from Bora Bora on a high. It was truly amazing. We boarded the plane and took the 45 minute flight back to Tahiti. From the air Tahiti was also beautiful and really the entire French Polynesia is a paradise overload.
We had to stay in Papeete one more night as is customary for traveling between islands. It worked out well as our hotel was located a short distance from the airport – so the taxi was not as expensive this time and it was also within walking distance to a huge Supermarket. We went to the supermarket and stocked up on food for the rest of the week.
We finished the night with a beautiful sunset on the beach. We could see the mountains of Moorea, our next destination, glowing in the distance.
